What is ELMP?
Executive Leadership and Management of Projects (ELMP) is a project management methodology, it provides project managers and teams with a process that can be used consistently from initial concept to completion with tools, techniques and procedures derived from best practice (e.g. – Prince 2).
Objectives of ELMP Process
To understand project methodology and to understand what you need to expect from individuals in project work to achieve a successful outcome and to;
- Recognise the implications of the methodology in relation to the role of the Project Sponsor
- Understand the key actions of a Project Sponsor at each phase of the project or programme
- Understand the role of the Programme Steering Group (PSG) and how it must function
